Costly Errors Made by College Students

There are millions of students who start college each and every year and some end their college careers for one reason or another. Some students leave college because they did not get to know their instructors. College professors want students to succeed and they are there to help in any way they can. If you cannot talk to your professor you may feel like an outside in college, so be sure to introduce yourself and start to build a relationship.

Many college students fail to manage their time well. This is the first time in many of their lives when they do not have parents or teachers telling them what to do. Some students fail to attend class or they take on too much part time work which interferes with their school work.

A lot of students fail to get involved in campus life. It is important to join clubs and groups or sign up to play sports in the evenings and on weekends.

Finally, many college students are not ready for class. They do too much socializing and fail to do their homework and complete assignments. If you plan on entering college, be sure not to make these same mistakes.
