A Recruiter’s Perspective

Finally, the online degree is starting to get respect from educators across the United States, but will the rest of the world follow suit? People say an online degree is only as good as the opportunities it will bring. As online learning continues to evolve into a well-respected educational option many recruiters will embrace the new avenue of attracting enrollees. In many ways the influx of online degree programs has relieved some of the pressure recruiters have to endure in the usual process of enticing new students to attend their respective college or university. Academic administrators, recruiters, students and their parents will continue to benefit from the wide variety of online courses and the increase of offerings available.Referenced Source(s):

Attorneys on the Rise

For decades, becoming a lawyer, or attorney, carried a great deal of prestige with any parents encouraging their children to become either r a doctor or a lawyer so they would have a secure career. This old adage still holds true today in that the need for competent legal practitioners is still very strong. There are many types of lawyers and many that never even step into the actual courtroom. Attorneys are held to a rigid standard of ethics regardless of their particular area of focus and must be licensed or certified to practice. Generally, lawyers obtain their law degree from an established academic institution. Typically lawyers earn a very good living and some corporate or tort lawyers are millionaires.

Epidemiologist

In today’s world rife with the threat of terrorist activities and widespread concern about communicable diseases, epidemiologists have become key players in the prevention and treatment of a variety of dangerous diseases and substances. Generally, epidemiologists will have obtained a minimum of a Master’s degree in their chosen specialty and can expect to earn moderate salaries. For certain individuals, this field is very exciting and the prospect of finding a cure or deterrent to an infectious disease is even more rewarding than a salary could match. Epidemiologists basically study health and illness within a given population and may conduct their research in an isolated lab or in several locations throughout the world.
