Digital Textbooks

College textbooks are notoriously expensive and always have been. Currently, a college student can expect to pay between $200 and $300 per year on books. And when it comes time to sell the books back to the bookstore, the news does not get any better. Students are lucky if they receive half of what they paid new.

Digital college textbooks could be the answer to this. As you may know, ebook readers such as the Kindle and the Nook are becoming quite popular due to how convenient they are plus due to the fact that you can store an entire library in the small device. If electronic college books were made available, students would save a whole lot of money on books and students could leave via video, and interactive activities done on the ebook readers.

Many people believe that students would be more excited to learn if digital books were used in classrooms. After all, the young people today are totally wired from sun up until sun down carrying around smart phones during the day and sitting in front of computers in the evenings.
