Linux Networking Courses

Individuals that have completed their certifications in Linux+ should have a working knowledge and the necessary skills to perform networking duties in a Linux environment. Linux+ certified individuals usually seek a position within an organization as a Technical Consultant, Infrastructure Design,  Linux Technician,  Level 1 & 2 Support technician or a Linux Network Administrator. Certified Linux+ professionals should be able to perform the following duties:

 

·     Plan and install Linux, configure the desktop, hardware and applications.

·     Configure basic network services and settings (e.g., netconfig, linuxconf; settings for TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP)

·     Perform Linux administration, such as creating users, modifying users, setting environment variables, and backing up data and printing.

·     Understand Linux’s open source licensing, system maintenance: monitoring log files and downloading patches.
