University of Phoenix
The University of Phoenix has one of the largest schools with on-campus and internet-based schooling provided. The University has been around since 1976 when Dr. John Sperling founded the college in Phoenix, Arizona.
As of 2008 there are over 250,000 students both undergraduate and post-graduate that attend either on-campus or online-based schooling. The University offers students a wide range of degrees from communications and networking to the visual arts and everything in between.
Students can attend from any number of the 79 campuses or 117 learning centers around the world.
